Bottle 0,33ltr at 't Pothuys, Maastricht: Hazy dark amber colored brew with an medium sweet bitter taste, hints of caramel and some faint fruitiness. Not bad at all.

Deep amber brown colour, good frothy beige head, dissipates slowly, minimal lacing. Aroma roasted malts, dark fruits, caramel, light molasses. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, dark fruits, brown sugar. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, bit sugary, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, nice dubbel.

0.33 l bottle from 'Jumbo' (Maastricht), best before August 2018. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately fruity-grassy aroma of lemon peel, fresh grass and some pineapple. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, fruity-grassy and a bit yeasty taste of fresh grass, lemon peel, pineapple, some vanilla and faint hints of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather grassy, slightly yeasty and medium dry finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Refreshing, highly quaffable Blond, pleasantly hoppy and dry, maybe a touch too yeasty in the finish, but overall very decent for the style!
