Bottle at Moolenaar proeflokaal, Oosterhout. Orange golden color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, moderately bitter, hoppy but not too much hoppy influences tbh. Okay.

Bottle at bier café / proeflokaal Moolenaar, Oosterhout. Red hue coming through a brown colored beer. Medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma initially suggested brown candy sugar, but after a while it becomes way more herbal / spicy. Flavor is malts, caramelized malts, soft to average notes of spices, a bit sweet overall. Suitable body and carbonation. Pretty useful.

0.33 l bottle from 't Biermenneke, best before October 2022. A little hazy, pale amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, gently herbal, slightly fruity and a bit yeasty aroma of eucalyptus, apricot, honey and light sultanas. Gently sweet, malty, quite herbal, moderately fruity, slightly yeasty taste of honey, eucalyptus, sultanas, apricot and clove, followed by a short, gently bitter, herbal, dry finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Interesting beer, reminds me of Tre Fontane.

Uit een flesje. Een heel goed krachtig aroma, peperig. De abrikoos haal ik er niet uit, ook niet uit de smaak. Maar ook die is heel goed. Ik ben fan.
