33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Mr. Hop. Light hazy amber with a white head. Fruity eucalyptus aroma I guess. Am not really sure what eucalyptus smells like but I think it smells like this. Sweet taste with a herbal slightly warming finish. Nice unusual tripel.

batch 061217, Joop&Jo, schenkt gouden met volle witte kraag. aroma va citrus, mout, tarwe, lichte honing. Smaken bah....gagel..... dit is niet mijn persoonlijke favoriete smaak... smaken zijn verder wat dun, floraal, behoorlijk veel co2 in de mond(voor mij persoonlijk wat teveel), redelijk bitter, teveel en te bittere gagel/kruidige smaken, licht honing zoet, neen dit kan ik persoonlijk iets minder bekoren. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lull's Blond on 05 Jul 2018 at 22:37 - Score: 6. Bottle. No label on the bottle, only a sticker on the crowncap. Color: In between amber and ruby, thin off-white head. Aroma: Roasted malt, caramel, hints of Cognac. Taste: Roasted malt, moderate to medium sweet, lightly bitter. Notes of caramel. Subtle notes of the Cognac BA, which are better recognizable towards and at the finish. Pretty smooth mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Remarkable low alcohol for an Quad, tending to a Double, but in this case I think it makes the beer more balanced with the subtle Cognac hints. Medium body. The BA could be a little more pronounced. This beer does not really stand out, but overall it is very easy drinkable and pretty nice. Well done, brewers of De Grieze.
