On tap @ the brewery. Hazy yellow appearance with a lasting foamy white head. The aroma is very herbal and grassy which just a bit of lemon. Nice mouth feel. Moderately bitter. Soft grains, light toast, lemon, delicate flavor. Super easy to drink. Best beer by these guys in ages.

On tap @ the brewery. Hazy, dark orange appearance with a foamy tan head. Aroma has some caramel, pine, resin, and bitter herbal hops. Fairly high alcohol, chewy malts, and bitter hops. A little doughy, moderately sweet flavor with some bread and caramel. Spicy, weedy, resiny hoppy flavor. Doesn’t taste all that fresh. Bleh.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving messy foamy and bubbly lacing.
The smell had a sweet to sour to tart pomegranate and a little bit of honey on the back end as it warms.
The taste was sour and sweet through the fruit and the wheat combination.
A light sweet pomegranate aftertaste leads into a wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat pretty light on the body with the wheat seeming to be lacking a bit.
Overall, I say this was a decent fruit beer. Fort Collins probably could have used a bit more wheat to make a slight heavier body, unless they were trying to make a super sessionable fruit beer. I might have again depending upon what else is served.

Hoppier than it is toasty. Lits of citrus. Pours black with OK head and lacing. Bitter finish. A touch unbalanced but still pretty good overall. Tap at Jackpot.

12 ounce bottle into dimpled mug, bottled in 2014. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of caramel, toasted bread, light honey, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with well balanced bready malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of caramel, toast, biscuit, light honey, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and robustness of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Nicely clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and slightly bready/sticky mouthfeel that is good. A fair amount of dryness as well. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a solid Oktoberfest style. All around good robustness and balance of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.
