Baker’s chocolate nose. Clear brown, medium yellow head, good lacing. Musty, dusty chocolate. A little vegetal, although my sampling glass may have needed a rinse.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours dark and ruddy with a creamy beige head. Dark roasty malt aroma with some light floral/earthy hop. The flavor is quite fruity with some slightly harsh heavy roasted malt. A little earthy/woody. The fruit seems to be light stone, but there is a hint of something like cherry. Heavy, lots of hop, finishes neither sweet nor dry. Definitely not a lawnmower beer.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white to light tan head. Aroma is caramelish, biscuity, herbal and light hops fruity. Bitter, pinewood and biscuit malty flavoured. Bitter and slight dry finish.

Pour is a dark red with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted caramel malt with some sugar and oily hop. Flavor is some dirty, earthy malts followed by some hop and an small alcohol heat. This drinks real heavy is quite filling. Its decent enough and spot on for an American stong ale.

Bomber pours very dark with nice looking mocha head. The aroma is full of a mixture of pine hops and grapefruit like citrus hops as well as lesser amounts of herbally – earthy malts, some roasted malts and burnt malts. The taste enters on the creamy side with a good dose of pine hop and grapefruit hop bitterness and feebly offering up snippets of hop flavor. Surrounding the bitter hops is a thin ring of sweet molasses, some earthy malts, burnt malts and a slight sense of chocolate brownie. The hops really control the experience where a bit of malt and molasses like sweetness add a touch of balance. Nice stuff.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, pine, resin, grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. 22oz bottle-pours a big foamy/rich tan head that laces and copper color. Aroma is rich/roasty medium malt, pine which improved as it warmed. Taste is rich/roasty medium malt, pine/resin hops, some fake candy. Body is lacking.
