Medium offwhite head over hazy deep, dark brown body. Harmonic sweet, hoppy, bready aroma with notes of wood, milk, and soft roastiness. Taste is hoppy, sweet wood, faintly watery, with some fruitiness, and roastiness. Yeasty notes. Some alcohol heat. Bitter, wooden finish. A very good beer! (0.3l bottle.)

Medium white head; hazy orange body. Deep, fruity, yeasty aroma with notes of sweetness and tropical fruit. Taste is deep, sweet tropical fruit with a bitter edge to it. Yeasty, wheaty notes. Some alcohol heat, inevitably. An excellent beer. (0.3l bottle.)

Bottle. Nice big head with excellent duration. Color is golden amberand a bit cloudy. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of alcohol. Taste is sweet too and taste is quite alcoholic.

Hazy dull beige colour. Spicy yeast nose with a good peppery alcohol shot. Perhaps a bit oxidized, but some peachy notes, clean alcohol and warm maltiness.

Cloudy dull beige. Tart and wheaty aroma. Wheaty flavours, lots of orange character. Lots of dusty yeast notes, too. Not as bright as regular Hoegaarden, but doesn’t up the complexity either. So, kind of pointless, despite there being nothing particularly wrong with it technically.

On tap. I find the colour very unappealing - a bit like weak tea with just a dash of milk - but it would be a shame to let this put you off. The taste is magnificent, a mingling of citrus and spice with the earthiness of the yeast. A truely refreshing summer beer. The only thing I really don’t like about it is the shape of the authentic Hoegaarden tumbler glass - it reminds me of the one my grandmother kept her false teeth in - the stuff of nightmares.

0.33lt Bottle. Cloudy yellow color, thin white head. Spices, banana, citric fruits , malt and yeast aromas and taste. Pretty coimplex beer. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a very pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma is citrus, spices, koriander and wheat. Flavor is spicy and sweet. A very nice mixture between the two. Tasting bananas, lemon, wheat, and spicy notes.
