Bottled(330ml). –certainly the best Hoegaarden, aroma of yeast and fruit with spicy notes, very rich in flavor , great fresh spicy finish, this beer worth every cent I paid for it

Huge yellowish head, very creamy and leaving textbook lace; orange-yellow beer with faint greenish shine. Burnt caramel, adstringent nose, going over in meaty, yeasty aroma’s, and the obligatory bit of citrus. Initially fierce alcoholic taste, warm-sweet, bit adstringent again. Bit of bitterness in the finish, not hoppy, more vegetable. Finally some citrus to freshen it up. Another InBev product with a near-empty paltate. Alcoholwarming, oily. This was never Pierre Celis’ best creation. But what InBev made from it, is just eligible for cooking purposes. I think this is brewed in Leuven...

(bottle) Cloudy orange to amber colour with a big but diminishing off-white head. Soft sweet wheat-maltiness with bubblegum. Sweet flavour and sweet malty taste with chestnuts and a slim yeasty, fruity and malty finish.

Creamy, white head with a spattering of large darkish bubbles, over opaque dirty yellow body. Aroma is pretty faint, but citrusy and spicy. Taste is light, mouthfeel marked by carbonation hiding most of what is initially going on, leaving a light citrusy taste with notes of something else (probably coriander). Overall, a light, clean, refreshing beer, but ot the greatest of beer experiences, perhaps. It feels strange to criticize such an established world classic, but the fact is that there are better witbiers around (the other Hoegaardens being the prime examples of this).

Definately one of the best beers I have tasted. It has a nice rich flavor. The foam has a staying power other beers would envy.

Bottle. Hazy, pale yellow with with dense white head. Orange, coriander, banana and yeast in aroma. Light in flavour with a fizzy mouthfeel. Dry, but unhoppy aftertaste. Works well as a thirst-quencher, but tends to be a little too much after some bottles. (050927)

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a red/brownish colur with medium brown head. Aromas of orange, peach, raisins. SPicy and fruity taste. A very nice beer that got better as time passed by.

Botle pours a very light cloudy white/yellow witha midium bright white head. Thick resiliant lacing. Aroma is light and spicy. I notice the Belgiun yeasty notes and just a bit of the advertised coriander. Flavor is very mild and pale. Fairly sweet and papery. Lively carbonation and a moderate feel in general. Skunk nailed it. "Sessionable"

Bottled. Hazy nut brown colour with huge creamy head. Sweet wheat and citric nose. Sweet wheaty and citric flavour with yeast present. Pleasant palate. Lots of yeast in finish.
