17 August 2019. At Gents Bierfestival X. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & the crew! Cloudy black with a lasting, very small, foamy, dark beige head. Intense aroma of marshmallow, chocolate sauce, straciatella ice cream, candied date, vanilla, biscuit, molasses, rum-soaked raisin. Taste is heavy malty sweet, thick chocolate & molasses wrapped in a biscuity & creamy character, offering soft cinnamon & coconut, a bit fruity underneath, nuts & coffee becoming more apparent too, having a slightly powdery effect. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, a tad peppery, lots of biscuit & chocolate still initiating a warming, chocolate jenever-like alcohol effect. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rich & decadent, mostly lots of sugars, biscuit & chocolate.

The Aromas are hops and dry grain. Not a big fan of the flavors here. The fruits and the bitterness Clash leaving some odd qualities that aren't that Pleasant. I'll drink it and that's it.

Definitely high on the berry contingent. Some lime. Pours murky pink with good head and lacing. Salt, lime. Pours murky pink with good hea and lacing. Tap at Churchkey.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a cloudy and chunky bright golden color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet with toffee, honey and fruity hops. The flavor was tangy, sweet and bitter with pecan pie and tropical fruit. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

Sampled from a can this beer poured thick, black and oily with a small foamy brown head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was roasty and toasty strong chocolate and nut. The flavor was toasty and sweet with strong chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow, cooffe, light bitterness and a bit of booziness. Very long finish. Thick and full bodied.

Decadent dying off? Feels like it. poured clear so I shook the can and got some flavor Tastes like canned pineapple juice added to an over hopped IPA. Orange notes are nice but no date on can? No sweetness?! Bitter on bitter + sweet orange nose.
