Can split at L6, thanks to Kenny, 'Farewell New Ken' tasting 18/09/19. Pitch black with a well presented dirty tan cap that retains well. Nose is rich roast, chocolate, molasses, tangy dried fruits, toffee. Taste comprises chocolate, light black peppery spice, dried fruit rinds, cocoa sprinkle, sweet malts, brown sugar melt, nutty. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced boost. Decent enough impy but not top draw for me.

Pours unclear, nearly fluorecent yellow. Small ring of white head. Smell is mango, full on fruity. Coconut is there, but way less intense. Taste is full, fruits (mango), tad tart, bit coconut in the back. Rather plastic trough a thin body, with higher carbo. Not great, no...

Can at BD Castlegate share. It pours hazy golden orange with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, orange peel, brioche, sherbet, cinnamon, vanilla, creamy, tangerine, clementine and panettone. The taste is slick, sweet, sticky, sugar, vanilla icing sugar, candy, light spice, warming cinnamon, light booze and candy with a slick finish. Full body and fine, foamy carbonation. Unusual.

On tap at Arts and Crafts Amsterdam Ave. Pours gold orange. Cinnamon, orange, floral, orange bitters, apricot. Medium body. A bit mental.

Can. Whilst RateBeer does it upmost to make a right fucking pigs ear off imperial IPA and so-called, badly defined and even more badly administered so called hazy double ipas, Decadent crack on and twist the Imperial IPA style this way and that. It certainly does not always work, but they are out there and pushing it. This one is pretty good. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth light palate, semi-dry and has decent fine minerally carbonation. Light sweet malts, a touch of malt creamy sweetness, well integrated vanilla and coconut milk. Slightly bitter orange and tangerine peel bitterness, mild pine and mild hop spice. Semi sweet cinnamon on the lght finish and fairly well integrated. Smooth and semi dry finish, tasty and a little unusual but ultimately not that inspiring.

Little cloudy yellowish beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, lots of citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruits, bit soapy, little soapy, chemical touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. TAste: fruity start, mango, bit fruity, citrus, lactose, more fruity notes, some coconut. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, grapefruit, coconut, bit hoppy, more coconut, orange peel, lactose, decent beer, like it!

Cloudy pale yellow beer, small creamy white head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of oranges first, effervescent vitamin tablets with orange flavour (artificial and slightly medicinal), then after a while lots of fake vanilla, like tic-tac outsides. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice citrus touch, more of that fake vanilla, reminds me a lot about orange-flavoured tic-tacs… bit sweet, very artificial flavourings, slightly bitter, meh, not a fan of this.
