can very nice hop forward ipa aroma, lots of pine, bit of herbal notes too, perhaps a bit stingy, but real nice. thin malty base though. flavor has mangoes, sweet citrus fruits, pine, the inside well tasting orange fruit peel. malt flavor is full bodied. beer is not very crisp.

aroma is basically like a lager but with faint herbal citrusgrassy notes, faint herbal notes. I don't know if this is a lager, but to me, it tastes like a slighly herbal, slightly lemongrassy lager. Could be the local malts that add all the color to the aroma. Flavor is malty to sweet malty, honey like swetness, tea or lemongrass like herbal bitterness.

can from meny strong aroma of pineapple, cocnut and lacto, looks like a beer, but the pineapple and coconut totally dominates whatever malts and hops there might be, at least in the aroma. Nice aroma by the way. Having the glass stay a bit, there is a bittermalty note, like fruit beer bittermalty. Flavor is sweet pineapple and coconut, faint beery note like in a radler. the end is slightly more beer like. Taste is actually pretty good with the pineapple coconut and lacto actually hitting the pina colada flavor somewhat closely. If you expected beer flavor you will be dissapointed, but as a radler kind of beer, it works quite well.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Low beige layer on top of a deep dark brown body, fragile lacing. Attractive aromas with roasted dark malts, moments of caramel and dark bread. Similar, likeable, taste of mid-sweet caramel malts, bread and syrup. Oaky. Roasted malt-driven ending, not overly sweet, oaky. Smooth on the palate. Slow,, evening sipper. Like it. Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 04/06/24. Pitch black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is toffee fudge, hint of coconut, vanilla essence, chocolate, dark malts. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, charr, hint of liquorice all sorts, coffee grinds, mellow roast. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Tidy well balanced impy stout.
