Black body, with a small, dark beige head.
Dense aroma of blackberry, brandy, soy sauce, cocoa powder, tobacco, dark chocolate. Tastes similar.
Medium mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes quite dry, roasty, moderate sweet, fruity, a bit boozy, with tobacco, cocoa powder, blackberry.
Lovely! Great combination of blackberry and (not too) boozy notes with a dry, robust dark malt backbone. Works really great, not to sweet, really well balanced.

330mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is dominated by the blackberry brandy—smelling like blackberries—with plenty of spirit barrels and dark sugars. Flavour is very dry, with tons of dry blackberry brandy, booze, and medium roast. Really like the barrels, but the beer could use a little extra sugar. Very good though.

A glass from a tap at L'Autre Oeil in Aylmer, Quebec, Canada. Low tan head on a near black body. Solid, medium density and mouth feel for an IS. Roasted coffee leads the taste profile, complimented by dark chocolate and berries. As with other Borg ISs, no evidence of hops under the lead taste elements.

For the second rate, I keep my opinion that it is a marvellous session ipa, so citrus, so hoppy, so fruity on the tropical way, lovely, 14.02.19, buying it at qoqa.ch, drinking it at home, Epalinges.
