Bottle at the hotel, Reykjavik. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, liquorice, coffee, mocha, ash, dark fruits, cherries. Flavour is medium sweet with a long smooth bittersweet finish. Body is thick and full. This truly is a lovely, refined and rich Imperial Stout with a surprising drinkability.

From tap at Skúli Craft Bar, Reykjavik. Aroma of fruits, citrus, yeast, hint of hops. Flavour is light tart and a bit sour, with a hint if sweetness and a light bitter finish. Body is medium. A nicely crafted Saison.

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity hops, juicy tropical fruits, sweetish mango, citrus, orange. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Very juicy with lots of sweetish mango, orange juice, bitter hops. Nice!

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Tropical fruity aroma with juicy mango, guava, grapefruit, oily hops, citrus, orange. Flavour is mildly sweet with a medium bitter finish. Body is medium. Very good juicy IPA, big tropical fruit aroma, tasty!

Bottle from Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Aroma is huge brandy with roasted malt, chocolate, lots of oak, dried red fruits, marzipan, booze, raisins. Flavour is sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium to full. Nice Brandy BA with tons of wood, dried fruits and some booze. Nice one to sip on.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Aroma is coffee beans, dark malt, roast, coffee grounds, caramel, and liquorice. Flavour is fairly sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is above medium, alcohol being covered well. Yum, lots of coffee, good stuff.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Aroma is sweet dark malt with caramel, some roast, soft smoke, cocoa, and syrupy liquorice. Flavour is fairly sweet with some roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full and sticky. On the sweet side with a little more syrupy liquorice than I like. Some nice subtle smoke.
