Keg at the 2020 Leicester Beer Festival. Dark brown, opaque with a little ring of tan head. Salted caramel and a touch of burnt barley on the aroma. Taste is ambrosial, with the sweetness of barley sugar combines with milk chocolate and TCP. More astringency in the long finish. Complex, intense and so delicious. An imperial stout to respect and savour.

Keg at the 2020 Leicester Beer Festival. Dark brown and almost opaque with a swirl of tan head. Nutty aroma with notes of chocokate and black grape. The taste starts sweet but there's an intense hoppy bitterness toward the finish. Soured stone fruit, walnut and dark chocolate in the aftertaste. Soft carbonation. OK.
