Description
We are a modern craft brewery and tap room founded in 2014 in Rivington. Focusing on innovative modern styles, while drawing inspiration from the past.
Our inspiration comes from the world over, but our focus is very much local. We concentrate on making the best beer in styles we love, for the people in our local communities. Our passion for the North West is paid back tenfold. We have local landlords who buy whatever we make, no matter the style - from barleywine to grisette - we’re really lucky that so many places support us because they like our beers, and their customers love to try anything local. The people we look up to are all the brewers who are never content with the beers that they’re making - you can always be better.

Keg at SalamaNation, Helsinki.
Poured dense orange juicy looks with a white lasting head.
Pineapple juicy, light body, not really showing any malt base. No bitterness, feels bit chalky and empty.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 07/03/2026.
Deep mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is toffee, dates, fruit cake, light spice, caramel, toasted brown sugars.
Taste comprises dates, toasted brown sugar, earthy fruit rinds, dusty hop presence, cheesecake base, cocoa sprinkle.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Tidy sipper if not from the top drawer.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 07/03/2026.
Moderately hazed golden orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange zest, pineapple, grass, mandarin, papaya.
Taste comprises orange pith, guava, pine resin, dank chimes, grass.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Okay DIPA if a little below the usual standards set by Rivington.

Wigan Beer Festival 2026, Beer#30. Cloudy yellow in appearance. Citrus is dominant in both aroma and taste, but as there's plenty of strength about this brew it's a slower sipper. Sweetish in its lingering tropical, but more pine heavy aroma and taste.

375ml bottle. Didn't have the base beer so no comparison for me, however the 2024 edition was really good and I assume similar.
Pours a hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, raisins, caramel, whisky. Taste is sweet, rich, loads of dried fruit character, fruit cake, raisins, figs, dates, prunes etc. caramel, oaky and whisky notes coming through, warming alcohol. Full bodied, smooth. Really nice.

Wigan Beer Festival 2026, Beer#13. Mildly hazed golden coloured brew. Tropical fruit and pine is abundant in aroma, with the latter dominant in taste. Although it's full tasting its texture is a tad weak compared to this.
