August 2016: 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Hazy orange colour, pours very fizzy with a large off-white head. Aroma of plastic / rubber / glue / bandaid, overshadows more fruity hints of apricots. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is medium dry and woody, also some moderate fruity notes, bitter finish. Not very well balanced, and not a great beer. Won’t buy again.

April 2015: 330 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer, with slightly different print "Barcelona Beer" in the same style, not "Beercelona", but I assume this is the same beer. According to the brewery website, "Barcelona Beer" is the name now. ABV is 5%. Gusher bottle, enormous white head trhat takes a long time to subside. Lovely hoppy aroma with loads of tropical fruits and citrus. Medium sweet flavour, with notes of tropical fruits and some citrus again, also hints of spruce tips, but the bitterness is low (20 IBU). Some yeasty notes.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at OMA Bistró. Noticed as Animals Ultra IPA. Orange colour, white head. Aroma and flavour are herbal, with notes of dill and lemongrass - Sorachi Ace hops?

Lys brun tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter lyst brød, noe kjeller og sitrus. Lett. Fruktig, noe bitter. Smaker fløtekaramell, prim og sitrusskall. Middels lang.

Orange. Minimal head. Slightly too sweet. Some fruit. Medium bodied. A bit ok.

Medium copper with a white head. Not much to really pick up in the aroma. Som toasted malts and some rough hop notes. Medium bodied. Jagged hops bitterness is the only real detectable note in the flavor. I guess there is some malt and a little citrus but only when really wanting to believe. I’m not too high on this beer but I don’t hate it. It’s just kinda there.

Can 330ml (PBF XIV)
Golden colour, small white head. Bready, grainy aroma. Light-bodied. Some fruityness, grain... very restless.

--Canned at PBF XIV. -- Clear golden, small head. Fruity grainy nose. Really sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Syrupy sweet, unfirm and sloppy. Generic syrupy fruityness. Low bitterness. Feels pretty much like a poorly brewed indistrial lager. Obviously there is something dodgy with beers brewed under this brand. Will avoid them going forward.
