Description
We are a small group of people who are passionate about beer. So much so that we decided to bring a brewery back to Bewdley.

It has taken a lot of hard work and determination but we hope you'll agree it has all been worthwhile. Together we bring years of experience from within the industry and by just enjoying a good quality pint!

We brew on a 10 barrel plant which produces 2880 pints per brew. We have capacity to brew four times per week, and so this gives over half a million pints per year.

Wild River is our craft and keg arm of the brewery.

500ml bottle:BBE Feb 16. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 10th mar 15: shared with no one. Deep, dark ruby red: almost black, the head a fairly thin tanned covering. Roasted malts in the nose and taste: dark, bitter chocolate in the flavour. A bit ’watery’ but at 3.8% ABV it carried the flavours nicely: not great, but certainly worth trying.

Bottle from a farm shop near Evesham. Brown with a thin beige head. Glorious rich chocolate and fruit aroma with a little roasty malt. On tasting there’s an annoying prickly fizz which rather hides a velvety smooth mouthfeel. Lots more chocolate and sweet raisins and cream sherry and rich malt with a hint of smoke in the creamy finish. Hides the alcohol very well and goes down dangerously easily. Fantastic mild, one of the best I’ve had. Kudos to the brewer.

500ml Bottle: BBD end of Oct 14, bought at the brewery and poured into a vase shaped ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged glass on 24th Apr 14 and shared with no one. Clear golden to light amber, with a full white head, carbonation bubbles could be seen rising through the body throughout the tasting. Even blend of hop and malts, mild aroma of not much, but plenty of flavour in the taste and fairly full in the body for a 3.8% ABV brew. Pleasant blend that isn’t going to set your world alight, but as a session ale it sits just right.
