330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours clear gold, good rocky white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt. Taste is light, with a confidently sweet pale malt character, a touch buttery with a low bitterness. Decent, sessionable Czech pilsner-esque lager.

Keg at Draft House Tower Bridge, 08/02/18. Clear chestnut brown with a thin off white head that soon dissipates to nyadda. Nose is toffee, brown sugar, biscuit crumbs, nutty tones, sweet. Taste comprises biscuit malt, brown bread, caramel, red berry fruit notes, light hop presence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for the style.

Keg at Draft House Tower Bridge, 08/02/18. Very lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is caramel, grains, fruit esters, light stoned fruit notes, citric drizzle. Taste comprises vanilla, light spice, caramel, stewed fruits, banana, yeast esters, fruit slice. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, light tickle of booze in the close. This was a nice surprise ... a really solid and well balanced tripel ... doesn't go runaway on the sweetness front as is often my problem with this style.
