Draft at the source. The lime dominated this one, with the spice and the wheat both in the background. Refreshing.

On tap at the source. Comes to the table a solid black color with a thinnish tan head that shows some retention. Smells of roast and chocolate with a bit of caramel and hints of earth, anise, pepper, and clove. The flavor is sweet roasty malt up front with a bit of licorice and bits of clove and mint.Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick chewy mouthfeel. Slightly different take on a stout with Belgian yeast. I enjoyed this but it wasn’t my favorite of the night.

On tap at the source. comes to the table a lightly hazy medium straw color with a smallish off white head. Smells of bready pilsner malt with a fair amount of spice earthy hops to back it up. Light fruity aromas add a hint of complexity. The flavor is sweet bready malt with spicy hop flavors to counter. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet smooth mouthfeel. Nice pilsner with a NZ hop twist to it. I really should have started with this one, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

On tap at the source. comes to the table a slightly hazy light gold color with a thinnish off white head that wisps away before I know it. Smells of grapefruit, lemon, pine, resin and dankness with a hint of bready malt to attempt some balance. the flavor is sweet bready malt up front but that is quickly pushed back by the onslaught of hops. Pine resin and citrus with a moderate level of hop bitterness round out the flavor nicely. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sticky mouthfeel. Great brew, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
