Cask at GBBF 2018. It pours cloudy orange with a bubbly white head. The aroma is freshly squeezed orange, oily, tangerine, apricot, floury bread and wet grass. The taste is dry, bitter, floury bread, grassy, floral, apricot, bit of cheddar, wet grass, spice, chalky and a bit of booze with a drying and chalky finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Aroma is nice, by the taste is muddled.

From May 2007

Purchased from Wilbur's Liquors in Ft Collins.

This one pours from 22oz bottle a clear dark amber with a very small head of foam that dissipated completely before I finished typing this sentence and there's no lacing.

The smell is very delicate..I can't get much out of it...maybe some sweet malt? Really faint.

The taste is at least more assertive than the nose. I can taste some roasted malt with *some* nutiness but it's pretty lightly flavoured. I'm also getting some chocolate notes and some spice..swishing the beer in my mouth, I'd say there was some cinnamon flavour there but, again, it's on the light side. The finish is kind of a hodgepodge...slightly bitter but not bitter in a *good* way. Man, this isn't very good at all. Could be a drain pour for me. Dang.

Further sips in and there really are no redeeming features in this brew. I *am* going to pour this down the drain.:^(

Sampled at Brewer’s Republic. Pours a clear, bright orange color, with a small, beige head. The nose is tangerines and a distinct note of vegetables. Caramel, bread, and some pine. Sweet up front, with a light bitterness and a hard and quick heat. Medium body, with a crisp, astringent, and acidic mouthfeel. Overall, this is a difficult and unpleasant beer. Too much heat, and not enough complexity to make it worth it.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese. Stored in the frig for awhile. Pours bright gold with a creamy white head that fizzes a bit. Cranberry aroma. Near med body. Flavor is dry and only so very lightly sourish at first. Cranberries not present in massive quantities, but they are there and present a certain tartness to match with the BW sourishness. Or at least that’s my take. The fruit is nicely done, but something other than cranberries may have been a better choice.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with no head. The aroma is berry, cherry, oak, some funk. Thin body, oak tannins, cherry, light earthy malt, nice tartness, very good.

I am rating the 10th anniversary west coast IPA. The bottle has no date or even alcohol content on it so I’m guessing this is the same thing. Pour is a dark brown with a average white head. Looks more like a brown ale. Aroma is a woodsy hop with a strong caramel malt. Flavor is more of a earthy malt with a strong plastic aftertaste. No hop presence at all in the flavor. This was awful. This was first time home brew bad. No west coast IPA should ever look or taste like this.

Bottle. A- Lemon juice, subtle funk, tea, bread, caramel. A- Orange red color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Slightly sour, slightly tart, subtle funk, citrus, bready. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, funky finish. O- First off, what a dumb name and bottle art. That aside, it was almost an equally bad beer. A fair amount of brett tasting funk to it with a weird caramel bread like flavor. Meh.

Dhs - pour a turbid amber, fizzy body/head - smells of tropical citrus, pineapple, muskiness, orange peel, light acetic acid - flavor is fairly tart/acidic tasting someone lactic and lightly acetic - a lot of lemon character - finishes like tart grapefruit - eh - can we take a second to talk about the name? - emoticon? - what fucking year is this?
