Gravicask on the second day at Plymouth Camra Beer Festival 2016. Bright, warm golden body. Patchy lacing, dotted spots on the glass. Modest peachy aroma. Mild malt-fruity flavours of peaches, bread and lemony hops. Distant bitter end. Fair enough, does not stand out in any way (Shared with Finn, 24.09.2016).

Cask: half-pint in The Royal Oak, Fleetwood on 10th Sep 2016. Very pale golden in colour, decent white head. Really hoppy and bitter, liked it a lot. Loads of flavour for a 3.8% ABV brew and a good body depth too.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - deep amber with a decent head. Nose - light caramel. Taste - caramel and light biscuit. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a decent bitter.

Cask at the Guildford Arms. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt, faint hop presence. Taste is light sweet, again faint hops just about balance things out. Basic.

Pendle Beer Festival 2016. Clear golden coloured ale. Has a sugary hoppy nose, slightly dry in taste, but not too much, and a medium bitterness. Fruits are only just evident.

Cask half-pint in The Station, Oakengates Shropshire on 2nd Jan 2016. Yet another citrus flavoured golden beer from an English brewery. This one could have been one of many, nothing wrong with it, just be bored with the style and taste. Scored objectively.

Gravity dispense at the First Windsor Craft Beer Festival, W&E brewery, 19/09/15. Dark mahogany brown topped with a decent head of beige bubbles. Nose is light ash, toffee, cocoa powder, earthy, fruit loaf. Taste comprises chocolate, nutty, dark malt, hint of aniseed, fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid mild.
