29th April 2019; Shrewsbury Beer Share Gathering at Chez Sophie. Only four of us this week, so mostly small bottles and cans were broached. A 330ml can (BB 4th Feb 2020) was brought my me. Poured a misty golden yellow with a white head. As you'd expect from the name there is plenty of lemon like aromas and flavours in this. Bitter and sweet lemon taste and almost interesting.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April '19. Thanks must surely go to blackhaddock for this. Pours misty golden yellow, frothy white topping. Aroma distant lemon. Taste brings distinctive bitter Naples lemon, a touch salty.. interesting refresher.

Can at Made Inn Ashford. Hazy amber gold colour lasting white head. Slight sour lemon and then a decent lemon accent ipa behind it. Some lemon sherbet. Quite arresting. I liked it a lot. Really good intense distinct flavours. Wish it was on draught so I could have another pint. Good.

Draft at Acido Acida, in Ferrara, Italy. Pours classic gold fairly hazy, with minimum foam. Aroma is very citrus, lemony in particular. But also cream.... Limoncello cream, in the end... Body and carcinoma are average. Taste is moderately in sweetness, medium in bitterness. Finish is fairly short.

330ml can; BB 6th Feb 2020. Poured into a La Chouffe tulip glass at home on 8th Apr 2019. Straw blonde with a slight haze, weak white head. Citrus leanings from start to finish with various tropical and non-tropical fruits making an appearance in either the aroma, taste, or both. Didn't take to this at all though. Scored objectively and kindly.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A slightly hazy pale straw coloured pour with a loose white head; gooseberry aroma; tart gooseberry taste with a grainy body and some yeast; then a fruity bitterness and a bready finish. Clean and refreshing.
