Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L'aroma in bocca riporta sentori di caramello, miele, cereali, liquirizia, agrumi e lievito.

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. La carbonazione è nella norma con velocità di ascesa nella media. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è deciso. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate e di pronta beva. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato arrivano sensazioni di miele, cereali, luppolo, frutta secca e agrumi.

Bottle from The Very Last London Drinker Beer & Cider Festival. Pours almost black with a lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, moderate roasted malt, dark fruits and balsamic vinegar. Medium sweetness and light bitterness, with light sour vinegar edge. Medium body, average to soft carbonation. My first balsamic vinegar infused beer and it really worked.

Keg at MK VHX, 28/02/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap that retains well. Nose is bitter fruit rinds, cocoa powder, burnt toffee, chocolate biscuit. Taste comrpises soured dark fruits, plums, fruit balsams, lactic nip, light spice, cocoa rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte edge. Ok.

Keg at MK’s Vauxhall. It pours cloudy dark brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is toasty, milk chocolate, coffee grounds, tangy, earthy, wood, dark fruits and perhaps just a touch of balsamic. The taste is sweet upfront, oily, milk chocolate, caramel, cola, earth, wood, light spice, umami, marmite, burnt toast and balsamic edge with a dry, wood finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Unusual stuff that’s for sure… OK for what it is.

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, dark malt, light to moderate roasted, nesquick notes. Bottle split at Chris & Ruths pre GBBF Shin Dig, cheers for all the shares, 05/08/17. Hazed golden amber with a decent off white head. Nose is straw, biscuit, grains, orange peel. Taste comprises fruit rinds, bread, straw, orange, caramel, light spice, biscuit malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So very so.
