Description
We are Simon and Sarah Treen. We both come from Cornish families, something we’re immensely proud of. We are also very proud to be producing quality Cornish ales, which is why we have put our name to it.

With over fifteen years in the industry and a degree in brewing behind him, Simon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the job. It has long been his dream to run his own brewery.

Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival, 2018. Pours almost black with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, light coffee and nut. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. And 24/10/2025. Cask at The Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. See photo.

A really nice and tasty stout.
Moderate sweet and a fine smooth carbonation level.
Ok complexity.
Dark malt, chocolate, some roast and some coffee.

8/8/2025. Cask at GBBF 2025. Decent pour. Malty, leafy, touch worty aroma. Twiggy and caramelly. Medium sweetness with developing bitterness. Moderate body. Not bad.

Cask at GBBF 25. Clear gold. Thin foamy white head. Aroma has gluey fruits. Fruity. Canned syrup. Bitter resinous edge. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent. Didn't realise it was a lager.

11/3/2023. Cask at the 2023 Coventry Beer Festival. Pours clear chestnut brown with a small bubbly/frothy off-white to beige head. Good looking beer. Aroma of malt, toffee, bread, dark fruits, sulphur, plum. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Very nice.

Cask @ Coventry Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, nuts, hops and has a nice nutty roasty finish.

Cask @ Coventry Beer Festival. Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 110323
