About
Established since 2002, Blindmans Brewery can be found at Talbot Farm in Somerset amongst the cows. The brewery is a five barrel plant in a converted Milking Parlour. The brewery is fairly unique in having its own exclusive water spring which is carefully quality controlled, guaranteeing consistency. All ingredients are procured locally wherever possible, with malt supplied by Warminster Maltings, traditionally germinated on open floors in a process spanning centuries.

Cask at the Moon in the Square, Bournemouth. Dark mahogany pour with a big off white frothy head. Slightly malty notes in the aroma and a wonderfully rich fruity malt flavour with a hint of bitterness that lingers on the palate for a while after swallowing. Cask (handpump) @ Crescent, 18-21 The Crescent, Salford, Greater Manchester, England M5 4PF.Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, coffee, cold coffee, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, coffee, candy sweet, toffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120120]

Cask at the Raven, Bath - 03/04/12. Dark brown amber colour with thin white head. Biscuit malts on the nose. Fruity taste allied to the biscuit malt, a little chocolate and nut. Medium bodied, smooth finish, ok beer.

On tap somwhere! Slightly hazy amber beer. Toffee and marmalde hops on the nose. Smooth palate. Very nicely balanced toffee malt and light ’green’ hops. A little sweet orange and peach in the finish.

Cask@Market Porter, London. Deep amber colour, small off-white creamy head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mildly raisiny along with quite much red berries. Flavour is red berries, some sweet malts, wooden notes as well as mild spruce. Long berryish aftertaste.
