About
Established since 2002, Blindmans Brewery can be found at Talbot Farm in Somerset amongst the cows. The brewery is a five barrel plant in a converted Milking Parlour. The brewery is fairly unique in having its own exclusive water spring which is carefully quality controlled, guaranteeing consistency. All ingredients are procured locally wherever possible, with malt supplied by Warminster Maltings, traditionally germinated on open floors in a process spanning centuries.

This one pours a remarkably murky, very light brown. The aroma is quite toasty and a little bit biscuity. Light body, a bit acidic, and has a hollow chocolate malt character. This beer is a real miss.

Golden. Thin head. The aroma is buttery with some - maybe- fuggles. Taste is actually quite toffeeish, sweetish in the finish, too. Not all that much nuance.

@ Raven. Dark amber. Chewy, toffeeish aroma with prominent diacetyl. Toffee character, light caramel but they might not sell too much of this one at the Raven.
