About
Established since 2002, Blindmans Brewery can be found at Talbot Farm in Somerset amongst the cows. The brewery is a five barrel plant in a converted Milking Parlour. The brewery is fairly unique in having its own exclusive water spring which is carefully quality controlled, guaranteeing consistency. All ingredients are procured locally wherever possible, with malt supplied by Warminster Maltings, traditionally germinated on open floors in a process spanning centuries.

(Cask at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool, 21 July 2009) Reddish amber colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of toffee and wild berries. Fruity, malty taste with wild berries, toffee, raspberries and a gentle, bittersweet finish. Decent but not overly exciting.

Cask at the Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 30-03-09 Pours a wonderful clear gold, it looks terrific with a slim white head to top things off. There is a subtle hoppy nose but it really is quite a weak aroma. Tastes is a little citric, maybe lemon, quite dry in the mouth and an easy going bitterness throughout, drying more so at the end. Nice beer. A5 A5 F7 P3 OV13 3.3
