Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Blindmans Bobcat ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, caramel, fruity malt, nutty - pale nuts. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, nutty, earthy, apple notes. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140814]

Cask at JDW Welkin, thanks to Magne for the share. Clear dark brown coloured body under a bubbly surface. Fragile lacing. Aroma of bread and mid-sweet dark malts. Biscuit malts to the taste buds joined by leafy hops towards the ending. Medium bodied. Drinks well (Liverpool 02.02.2015).

500ml bottle: BBE Mar 15. Poured into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged pint vase in Jan 15. As the name suggests, this is a light golden brew, clean and clear, with a snow white topping that lasted. Light malty sweetness dominated the nose and taste for me, a little one dimensional but nothing offensive or nasty. let’s say OK without testing your taste buds to greatly.

Pint at the raven bath. Deep chestnut brown colour with almost no head. Deep malty aroma with chocolate. Taste is sweetish soft and thin but with a slight bitterness.

From cask. Cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, toasted malty. Bitter, light citrusy and toasted malty. Ends dry and bitter. Smooth fruity.

Cask @ Market Porter, Borough SE1. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity sweetish malty caramel flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Bottle @benzai. Clear golden colour with a minimal white head. Smells yoghurt, apricot, sweet. Tastes malts, watery, a bit sweet, slightly hoppy. Decent but thin. Very soft carbo.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear golden color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly some hops, a hint of orange and decently bitter. Average body and carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Lightly hazy orange amber color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, dried fruits. Taste lightly malts, dried fruits, light to moderately bitter and I get a touch of oatmeal. Or at least it reminds me of oatmeal. And biscuits. Low to average body, average carbonation.
