Based in Swindon and nearby Cricklade, the Hop Kettle Brewing Co. was founded by Tom Gee.

With over two decades of experience in hospitality, we have the insider’s understanding of the drinks industry, and the technical knowledge required to create one-of-a-kind brews. Rather than seeing beer as an established product in an established industry, we see it as a drink with no end of potential and variety. Hop Kettle Brewing Co. represents our means of exploring the possibilities of brewing, using a diverse range of ingredients to create beers with unique flavour profiles.

Cask at Darlington Snooker Club. Gluten Free. Black colour with reddish tinge, biege foam head and aroma of roast malt, chocolate, coffee. Taste is sweetish, roasty, dark malt, ashy, with chocolate & coffee, and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasted bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Cask at Darlington Snooker Club. Gluten Free. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of citrus, hops. Taste is malty, caramel, fruity, with citrusy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Bottle: Poured a golden with a huge white head. Aroma is hoppy, floral and citrus. Taste is light hops, citrus, fruits, big malty backbone. Refreshing beer.

10/4/2026. Cask at the Isle of Man CAMRA 13th Beer & Cider Festival. Good pour. Aroma is milky chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, caramel, burnt edge. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Very dry, roasted finish. Lacks some body but otherwise good.

10/4/2026. Cask at the Isle of Man CAMRA 13th Beer & Cider Festival. Cloudy pour. Aroma is sweet, ripe, tropical fruits, guava, citrus, biscuit, midget gems. Sweet tasting, low bitterness. Slight tartness. Juicy fruity finish. Good.

On tap at Famous Royal Navy Volunteer Bristol. Hazy dirty gold colour lasting white head. Its an ok session ipa. Somw tropical fruit. Light in bitterness. Tasty enough. Fruity light pale ale. OK.

Deep chestnut brown with a ruby tinge, a small frothy tan head and a sweet malt and raisin aroma. Light to medium bodied, has a hint of spice up front, sweet and malty with a bunch of fruit cake mix, floral bitterness and a dry finish.
