Draft at Brewhouse and Kitchen Poole as 1842 Tropical IPA. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, big juicy tutti frutti citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Ok, but rapidly became a little sickly.

Draught, half-pint shared with Finn at Brewhouse & Kitchen in Hoxton. Filmy white head leaving spotty lacing on the glassware, hazy golden-orange coloured body. Moderate smell of apricot and soft malts. Decent taste character of apricot and peaches with malty sweetness in the background. Smooth aftertaste with a bittersweet touch. Quite alright. (Hoxton, London 30.09.2023).
