Bottle from the brewery's stall at Winchester market. Malty aroma with fruit and resin. Gold. Thick creamy white head. Light bitter with a sour edge. Underlying malty buzz. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. It's OK but overall it's somewhat bland.

Bottle from the Brewery's stall at Winchester market. Sweet malty almond aroma. Chestnut. Creamy off-white head. Light-medium bitter. Gets more intense into the finish with dark fruits. Underlying malty sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Nice enough. Feels restrained - would be interesting to taste a more boozy ESB version of this.
