Can from Kingsgate Wines and Provisions, Winchester. Aroma has grains and wood, light citrus underlying doughy malts. Opaque copper gold. Foamy white head. Flavourwise it light-medium bitter with a sour edge. Herbal. Woody. Citrusy. Underlying light bready malts. Light. Thin to slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Pleasent Pils... possibly the first non-ale from this lot.

Bottle bought at General Store, Winchester. The design labels reveal that this is in fact hopped with Azacca and Mosaic. It even has the style, which was lacking on the old labels. Aroma has a pinch of citrus and spice over grainy malts. Clear amber gold. Thin foamy translucent white head. Malty golden ale is essentially what I am getting. There's cardboard. It's dusty. A touch of citrus sourness and quinine, which admittedly grow in strength but never pop. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. For me this just lazy. Old school twiggy stuff with US hops chucked in.

Bottle bought at General Store, Winchester. Aroma is sweet and fruity with nuts and glue. Clear dark brown. Bubbly foamy off-white head thins out. Sour with a sweet edge. Berries. Underlying malty sweetness then appears. However there's also an unruly boozy bitterness that then barges in. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long astringent finish. Nice enough but rough around the edges.
