Beer Number #17 at the Clitheroe Beer Festival 2025. Dark amber with a glow, even in the heavy sunshine reigning down on it A bitter in name, low bitterness, more traditional in style, and decent. Soft texture.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wigan. Pours a golfen yellow with a small off-white head. Not a very pronounced aroma – just some hints of floral hops and citrus. In the mouth it is slightly sweet and quite juicy. Flavour is mainly hops (traditional and continental) plus lemongrass, corn and grains with a touch of grapefruit. Finish is slightly dry. This is decent – nice and refreshing.
