Woohoo! A fairly run of the mill TIPA, in that it is boozy, sweet and has a bunch of hops thrown in. Nicely tropical, some stone fruit, slight maltyness in the background, and ending on the tiniest bitter. Bonus for battyness, and well done for correctnes.

10/7/2021. Can shared with Dan and ITFCfan at the pre-Euro final beer share (Come on England!). From Hoptimaal online. Pours cloudy pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, melon, mango, passion fruit, grass. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with moderate tart. Medium body, above average carbonation. Very nice, would have enjoyed it even more if it had less fizz.

The last time I visited Imazato everyone was raving about a Brazilian brewery, especially their stouts but at 1800-2000¥ or more I was put off the fact all the stouts were sold out didn’t help... finally tracked one down online! Salvador Brewing x Negro Dolce x Dude Coffee THE BEANS Imperial Stout 11% Pitch black with rusty tan highlights and a thick viscosity. Deep rusty tan foam but it vanishes fast. Big sweet coffee aroma and lush full body that verges on syrupy. The over the top fullness reminds me of Dark Lord. Very rich bitter chocolate with mocha coffee flavor. Not as sweet as the initial sip but this is a top quality stout that is very rich. Sweet mocha bitter chocolate milk coffee blend describes this best.
