Very sweet aroma, vinous with raisin. Dark brown colour, seems clear. The flavour is extremely sweet. Raisin. No carbonation. Better than expected.

From tap. Pours clear dark brown with a deep amber glare and a small off white head. Aroma is wooden, phenolic and mild citric fruity. Sweet, phenolic and caramelish. Sticky and fruity finish.

Bottle, 75cl. An unclear, orange-golden beer, flat, with no head. Cinnamon, sweet gale, ginger and sweetness on the nose. Some orange notes. Sweet flavor with lots of spices and herbs, ginger, sweet gale and cinnamon. Alcohol too. Warming and full-bodied, finishing sweet, warming and spiced. Not much reminiscent of a beer this one, but nice in a strange way anyway. 120914

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A small, off-white head forms over a clear, golden body. Strange, lighlty sourish aroma with lemon peel and a faint cellar touch. The flavor is pretty much the same, with some maltyness and bitterness. Lightly sourish and citrusy, not sure if this one’s infected or just added citrus. Medium body, quite dry. Lemony finish. A strange one, sort of pleasant, but not. 130420

Bottled (backlog). Deep orangeish red colour with no head. Aroma is spices, burnt sugar, plum, raisins and some toffee. Flavour is similar with some stinging alcohol as well.
