Crankshaft Brewery

Microbrewery in Leyland, Lancashire, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Established in 2016

Description
We started our brewery in 2016 using a home brew sized kit then very quickly purchased equipment where we could produce 150 bottles or 2 casks per brew, producing this at home in our garage.

We shortly ran out of space and found an industrial unit in Leyland in early 2017 where we could expand our capacity to produce 10 casks or 750 bottles per brew.

By late 2018, we were running out of space – the unit next door to the brewery became available and gave us a lot more space to expand and also to open a brewery tap at Easter 2019.

We have recently expanded our capacity so we can now produce 20 casks or approx 900 litres of beer per batch.
