330ml can from Priest Town Brewing Bottle Shop in Peston. Night cap, shared with Finn. A patchy, fawn-coloured head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Coal black body. Dark malt-driven aromas, liquorice to the fore. Mouth filling taste of grainy chocolate, ash, and liquorice. Roasted malty ending. Pleasing, does not taste that strong. Cask ale, half-pint at PR1 Bar in Preston, shared with Finn. Misty warm golden body, upper part glass-lacing from a covering white head. Distant sweaty hops on the nose. Taste of grassy hops and peaches followed by a bittersweet ending. Rather thin on the swallow. Average, more or less. (05.02.2019).
