500ml bottle from Bier Huis. Pale golden colour, afew short-lived white bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruity. Taste is sweetish, fleshy, apple, tart, fruity, some apple core & skin, along with citric acidity. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-sweet finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Bier Huis. Orangey amber colour, some short-lived white bubbles on top and aroma of apple, cardboardy & mucky funk notes. Taste is solventy funk, apple, tart, with cardboardy oxidation and some drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry finish. Unfortunately some oxidation evident from this one.

Taste is sweet, baked apple, fruity, boozey whiskey, with caramel & raisin notes, and mellow & spicy woody tannins. Medium bodied, low soft carbonation, medium-drying boozy spicy smooth tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Thanks for the tick danlo! Batch #3. Near clear straw of color. Thin white head. Red apples, tart apples, dry hard pear, hints of thready cooked rhubarb. More sour than sweet, bit watery.
