Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Thin pale malts, thin in the mouthfeel and thin in the creamy sweetness. Crisp pine and a light but bright citrus undertone. Skunky savoury hops slightly dominate, more's the pity. A little hop spice on the semi dry finish. Decent but fairly forgettable.

Keg draught at the Hop Garden, Harborne, Birmingham. Very dark brown with a ring of beige/khaki head. Strong caramel aroma with lots of mint. Hmmm. Am I supposed to be getting mint from this? Sweet taste, Mellow sugars and some vanilla-laden marshmallow... and more mint. Light body for the ABV, carbonation on the slightly heavy side. It works for me although I'm not sure I'm getting the flavours I am supposed to. However once it warms up a little, it becomes more S'mores-y. Either way I like it.

440ml can from lowcostbeer.com, 6 months old and 1 week past BBE. Hazy golden-orange, thin white head with spattering or retention. Big peach and pine aromas with a slight earthiness. Taste is lemony citrus, onion hop, spice, some lighter tropical notes in the background. Bold bitter finish. Moderate body, soft carbonation, easy to drink. Its a very good IPA.
