Cask at GBBF 2015, day 4 - London. Pours Clear copper-gold with a frothy white head. Bready malts in the nose with accents of toffee. Light-medium sweet flavor, with some brown bread, toffee, ripe fruits, berries, minimal bitterness. Light in body with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes sweet, with more bready malts, sugary berries and other ripe fruits. Tasty stuff, if somewhat simplistic.

Cask at Nairn beer fest. It pours clear deep brown with a medium beige head. The nose is earthy roast, coffee grounds, nut, dried fruits and a touch of caramel. The bitter, earth, roasted malt, burnt toast, plenty of dried fruit, raisins, wood and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great condition. Plenty of dried fruits. Not bad.

On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - dark brown to black with a decent head. Some orangey-red chinks. Nose - toffee, dry biscuits, like ryvita. Some nuttiness too. Taste - more of the same. Dry biscuits dominate. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish which is ok, just short of a bit astringent, Overall - a bit gnarly. You have to put time in to get something out.
