Third of a cask pint at the Scottish Real Ale Festival in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on 7th July 2017. Nice red hue to the copper body, white head that faded away a bit swiftly. The aroma had malts and fruits playing with each other, the taste similar: caramel and oranges came to mind as I sipped my glass. Decent.

Bottle from The Inverurie Whisky Shop. It pours clear rich brown with a medium white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, toffee, caramel, dried fruits, brown bread and malt loaf. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, fruit cake, dried fruits, malt loaf, earthy, wood, leather, resin and light spice with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent bitter bier.

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 4 - London. Pours Clear copper-gold with a frothy white head. Bready malts in the nose with accents of toffee. Light-medium sweet flavor, with some brown bread, toffee, ripe fruits, berries, minimal bitterness. Light in body with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes sweet, with more bready malts, sugary berries and other ripe fruits. Tasty stuff, if somewhat simplistic.
