Tulip at the brewery - yet another beer of theirs with minimal yeast expression, so much so I'd peg this as a regular iipa coming in blind - overly sweet/malty, with flat hip character and moderate bitterness - flat, overly sweet, lacking depth.

Taster at the brewery - dark purple - standard American take on a quad - dark fruit and treacly malt sweetness - this doesn't have enough yeast expression to cut the sweetness, so it winds up being cloying - not that good.

Tap at the brewery - one of the better beers I tried here - nice balance of clean malt sweetness, moderate bitterness, and peppery and dusty yeast - solid.

Taster at the brewery - clear dark amber - bland and uninspiring beer, deriving most of its character from the malt in the form of dark bread and light caramelized sugars - thin-bodied and somewhat watery - light herbal notes in the finish - meh.
