From its location in the heart of the Northamptonshire, the Great Oakley Brewery produces a wide range of first-class, award winning real ales.
Founded in 2005 in the small village of Great Oakley, this family-run business moved to Tiffield in 2012 where it continues to build the brewery’s excellent reputation. Over the years it has gone from strength to strength with its beers winning a number of prestigious awards.

Cask @ the Cock, Hanslope. Light yellow. Aroma is sharp with meaty hops. Buttercream. Bittersweet, clean and balanced. Great beer. Great brewery.

Cask a GBBF ’13, 13/08/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is caramel, light hops, bitter orange. Taste comprises subtle hops, touch of grapefruit, bitter orange, citrus peel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Nice stuff - towards the top end of the GB spectrum.

Cask at Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a cloudy golden colour with a thin halo of white head. Slightly funky aroma of wet grass, straw and brown sugar. Malty flavour with cereal and fruit tones. Watery palate; a little floral hop and grain.

From cask. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light toffee. Toasted, caramelish and bitter. Caramelish, light sweet and bitter into a rather dry finish.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2012, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, nut peel, light roasted, earthy notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, nutty, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120808]
