Description
Canteen Brewhouse is proud to be Albuquerque’s longest-standing brewery, serving our first beer back in 1994. Over the years, we’ve won over 150 local, national and international awards, but we’re most interested in our loyal following of folks who share the same passion for great beer. Join us at the Canteen Brewhouse or Canteen Taproom for a pint, or take home a six-pack, crowler or growler. We want you to believe in beer, too!

[At GABF 2004] A hazy orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very grassy and hoppy, while the flavor contains lots of hop oils, with a dry grassy end.

Bottled with Bristol bottlecap. Amber colour with a very thin (1 centimetre) tan head which dissipates quickly. Very thick bodied in the pour...appears to be a very nice beer. Very strong, grassy, floral hops are very pleasant and DEFINATELY mouth watering. Medium-bodied; Grassy taste with a perfect balance between the malt and hops, but the hops come out and play very nicely. Strong floral presence, a bit piney and definately citrusy. I'm really glad I picked up this beer when I was out in Colorado, this is one of the best IPAs i've had recently! The aftertaste is pretty bittering, but in a good sense. Definately try this if you can find it! I wish I could have another bottle or two, but since I got it on a trip, i'm lucky to have one! Overall, this is better than the average IPA, especially from the east coast. I bought this twelve ounce bottle from Liquor Mart in Boulder, Colorado...but carted it back out to Washington, and it still tastes great!!!
