Clear golden colour with lasting soapy head. Aroma and flavour have nice mix of fruity hop notes and some floral elements too. Decent stuff.

Cask at Borough Arms, Crewe. Pours golden yellow with a small off=white head and good lacing. There’s malts and biscuits in the nose plus hints of oranges. In the mouth there is a brief burst of sweetness to start with before it quickly becomes quite bitter, whilst remaining juicy. Flavour has floral hops and oranges, and later on some traces of generic citrus. Finish is quite bitter and slightly dry. This isn’t a worlds beater, but it is reasonable.

Can from Secretts, Milford. Aroma has light woody bitterness, caramel and citrus. Malty. Copper gold. Foamy blotchy off-white head. Medium-heavy bitterness - resin and quinine. Citrus edge. Develops a hig sweet caramel streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Billed as an American IPA and I guess they were aiming for somethings West Coast but ultimately like a lot of old-school UK breweries it's still trad verging on Golden Ale. Quite hoppy. Quite chewy. Fine.

Cask @ Pint Pot, Rochdale. Dark amber with a creamy-frothy head. Earthy-dryish malts hide a hint of fruit. Session strength and texture.

Cask at Brunswick, Derby. Pours a golden amber with a small off-white head. Malts and biscuits in the aroma. In the mouth there are malts again along with some floral hops, apples, and just a smidgen of sourness. Later oranges come to the fore. Finish is slightly dry. A bit “meh” to start off with, but it does get better.

Cask at EBF Summer 22. Aroma is fruity and malty and down in the mix. Clear copper gold. Bubbly translucent white head retreats to the rim. Medium bitter quinine and fruity edge. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Long very dry finish. Nice enough Gold.

Bottle from Wine Rack, Burpham. Aroma is malty with a restrained sour tang. Opaque dark brown. Foamy light beige head. Rich and malty. Grainy. Bitter. Sour citrus edge. Slightly metallic element into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Interesting enough for a bitter from this brewery.
