Description
Since we were established in 2014, we have grown organically from a single 100 litre brewing vessel, making small-batch craft beers for village fetes and a few local pubs, to our new 4000 square foot purpose-built state-of-the-art brewery which has a capacity of 100,000 litres of beer a month.

We have always made and will always make some of the finest craft beers in the UK.

Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn at Duke of Wellington. Upper part lacing, next-to-clear copper body, patchy surfaces. Moderate dough fruity nose. Subdued malt-fruity flavours, earthy malts and leafy hops. Rounded ending, hints of citrus peels. Easy to drink. Okay British bitter. (Norwich 11.11.2021).

Cask at EBF Nov 2021. Aroma is spot on - resin and dark chocolate. Underlying malts. Opaque. Darkest brown. Frothy translucent tan head. Medium bitter. Dark chocolate. Citrus streak. But creamy chocolate remains throughout. Medium bodied. Slick with a chalky residue. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Decent enough.

Nice deep copper body and good foam. Soft floral hops and mellow maltiness, vague biscuit on the nose. Taste is soft fruity malt, mellow hoppiness with lingering sweetness. Subtle but easy and nice.

Cask at Good Intent, Puttenham. Light grainy malty aroma. Copper gold. Thin foamy translucent white head. Light-medium bitter. Grainy. A touch of sweet fruit. Light-medium bodied slick. Soft carbonation. Dry finish. Nice enough.

Can bought at Andover Tap, Andover. Aroma is fruity, a hint of resin but also has an underlying cardboard edge. Hazy amber-gold. Thick fluffy off-white head. Medium bitter. Sour edge. Tangy more than zesty. Quinine. Weird salty streak. Light bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. It's OK but clearly an twiggy pushing brewery attempting a more modern and chucking a loaf of fashionable hops in so it just ends up quite raw. Not in a West Coast way, just not quite right.

Bottle from Wine Rack, Burpham. Aroma is sweet and buttery with a sour off edge. An attractive neon amber. Thin bubbly translucent white head. Medium bitter with a sour streak. Quinine and grapefruit. Underlying sweet malty butteryness. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. A malty IPA. Just not great verging on buttery quinine averageness.

Bottle from Sessions Farm Shop, Windlesham. Aroma is saccharine and caramel sweet with an underlying mayonnaise streak. Light copper gold. Thin creamy white head. Medium bitter. Sour streak. Citrus. Malty underbelly but alongside that is a mayo off streak. Some spice and quinine appear into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick but on the thin side. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. This beer is a mess. A hoppy unbalanced Golden Ale with off noted. Crafty brew numerous beers which raise money for various charitable wings and this like the others is presumably some sort of rebadge. This beer pissed me off and I wasn't expecting much in the first place.

[50cl bottle from the Farm Shop at the new garden centre on the A30.] A bright golden amber pour with a thin white head; sour grainy aroma; rather jammy in the mouth with sour grains and some bitter marmalade; and a tart bitter finish. Not bad.
