Hell hopfiger, trocken herber Beginn. Leichte Süße, hell getreidig, konstante Aromatik, eher monoton. Okay. 9/7/8/7/11/7

Almost clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, zest, mild grapefruit. Taste of citrusy hops, flowers, grapefruit, moderate bitterness, easy to drink.

Pours rather clear blonde. Medium small white head. Scent is fairly mild. More on the crystal malts than the piney hops. Taste is medium vitter , low for the style. Caramel malts but also something dusty, aged about it, bit honeyed malts as well. Bbd 10 + months ahead though, and bought from a fridge... Decent beer, but not meeting expectations, let alone hopes. Also quite punchy on the alcohol, not at all smooth...

Can day 5 of Loz's bier advent calendar. Had this Tuesday 9th December 2025 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music. We had a simple tea of Spaghetti Bolognese after a busy few days away with Jude and Baz in Straubing and Regensburg and then in München meeting Bavarian Bluebirds last night and Jonas and Ursula on Sunday. Pours hazy yellow with a mid sized white head. Quite sweet after the pils that I've just had, actually allowing for the mouth swish, it's still quite sweet. There's a little honey edge to this. Hoppiness is muted, it's okay without ever wowing me. Score 6.0

Can from Morrisons. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of pineapple and dried apricot. Flavour of mango and caramel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A fairly solid DIPA.

Can from Meny Domus Vista - Getting some lemon and pineapple, melon, citrus peel, chalky minerals, sweetish malty support with a light bitter hoppy close.

Draft @ The Good Mixer, London. Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of subdued tropical fruits. Taste of grains, citrus fruits and tropical fruits. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Watery, very thin and quite boring. I‘ve never been a friend of something, something, something Session IPA and I guess I never will.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of butter (yuck!), with touches of malt and yeast, and hints of citrus. Dry flavour of citrus, with notes of hops and touches of fruit, butter, and yeast. Acidic and estery aftertaste. Would be so much better without the butter.

Draught at Skaal Sønderborg. Very buttery aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Ok stable white head. The flavour is better than the aroma. Sweet and citric. Ok fruity and fortunately tastes better than it smells.
