Hazy amber, thick offwhite froth. Hoppy aroma, notes of mango, light pine. Caramely mango flavour, something estery and with light, smooth piney bitterness. Quite drinkable.

Tap. Hazy orange-reddish color with creamy tan head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, a bit piney, a bit old hops and parmesan. Taste is again caramel, toffee and a bit boozy. Nothing special.

500ml bottle. Barely clear, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Slightly grassy, minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, a touch of gooseberry and wet straw. Taste is minimally sweet caramel and pale malty, mildly grassy, dry, hoppy overtones. Uncalled-for.

500ml bottle. Barely clear, dark amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Piney, earthy, hoppy aroma, hints of red berries. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, fruity hoppy overtones, hints of red berries, a resinous and minimally nuttily touch, some banana. Slightly too sweet, one could criticize a certain hop deficit as well.

Sampled @ ChrisO Pre-GBBF Shindig. Hazy yellow color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, wheat, sweetish, slightly raw, a bit weird. Hmm not very good. Weird aftertaste, no don’t like it.

Bottle at Chris and Ruth’s pre-GBBF Shindig, 2016 (Sunday sesh.). Gold pour with a white head. Lemon, grapefruit and herb aroma. Wheat, sweet herb and soft fruit flavour. I’ll leave this concoction to the elite sportspeople. Not my cup of tea I’m afraid.
