(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Fruity and resiny hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pineapples and a mildly wheaty and yeasty background. Mildly bitter and delicately sour-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry malt character with present wheaty notes, as well as fruity and resiny hops; dry and mildly bitter hoppy and sour-fruity finish with notes of grapefruit and resin in the aftertaste. Likeable session wheat ale. 10.VII.16

Pours hazy light orange from the bottle. The crown soon dissipates to fine lacing. The aroma is subdued and goes in the direction of ginger tonic. Taste is rich malt, honey, caramel, and slides into a warming, lightly bitter finish. Chewy and creamy with overall relatively low carbonation. Overall pleasant and consistent. Would pair well with most meaty dishes.

500 ml. bottle @ Café Brecht in Amsterdam. BBF 24.03.17. Near clear amber, creamy off-white. Nose is dull apricot hop, very sweet mild cheesy hops, sugar, sweet milky yeast. Taste is odd overly cheesy hops in a lesser way, caramel, sugar, candy, too sweet, milky yeast, toffee. Boyd is oily toffee, butterscotch & cheese. Not really what an IPA should be, too sweet & heavy on things like butterscotch & cheese, not entirely bad but no cigar either.
