Fruity and slightly piney hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and pineapples, mildly cara-malt and slightly peppery yeasty spice. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Initially dry-ish fruity and slightly resiny hoppy with mildly malty notes, getting slightly stronger and biscuity towards the bitter-sweet finish, notes of tangerines in the aftertaste. Likeable Bavarian interpretation of an APA. 26.IX.14

(bottle) Almost cloudy, pale golden colour with a big but collapsing foamy white head. Strawy pale malty nose with doughy and slightly grainy accents, backed by traces of grassy hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly yeasty pale malt character with doughy and strawy spots, subtle fruity and grassy notes; mildly sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish with grainy notes in the aftertaste. Moderately sweet flavour, quite light bodied with a calm carbonation. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly yeasty, juicy malty start with notes of peaches, citrus and traces of caramel; sweet, even a bit syrupy, thus slightly sticky malty finish with delicately fruity notes, but also a well-masked alcoholic strength. Bottle. An unclear, orange-golden beer topped by a dense, finger-thick light beige head leaving nice curtains. The aroma is on the hoppy side, but rather weak. Oranges, pine cones and resins, but just some. Pale malts and a little caramel hint. Pale malts and bitterness, with pine cones, oranges and some resins in the flavor. Medium body, semi-dry, and plesantly carbonated. Nice bitterness in the finish. A rather boring one, but it’s flawless and quite decent. 140927
