Red-brown colour, small and disappearing head. Aroma has malty rye bread, some berries typical to Danish ales, raisins and plums. Flavour has berries and vegetables typical to Danish ales and some sweet malt. Decent.

Bottle.Dark almost black colour with medium head.Aroma is rich malty and rosted,with flavor of smoked wood and malt,medium body and licorice flavor,mild sweet finish.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting Januar, 2012. Pours ruby brown with a small creamy head and lacings. Caramel, bread and dark sugar. Medium bodied. Harmless - yet drinkable.

Odense New Year tasting. Very dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Weak aroma of malt, chocolate and brown sugar. Sweet caramel and brown sugar flavour with a touch of dried fruit.

bottle. trade with papsoe dark hazy brown, very smooth, large beige head. sweet aroma, slightly malty, slightly fruity. this aged bottle kept its aroma pretty well. Flavor is malty, smooth, slightly spicy, super well balanced, good use of hops, slightly anise spicy, way better than what i had expected.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light burnt caramel, moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, dark caramel malt, yeast, light brown sugar, chocolate notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft and fizzy. [20111102]
